I have an iphone 4 that I was using to just send iMessages but it has stopped working for some reason. I was on vacation when I first got it and was sending and receiving just fine whenever on wifi. Now when I got home whenever I try to send I get the "not delivered" message with exclamation point. And I am not receiving messages either.

It says I am connected to wifi and "awaiting activation" and iMessage is definitely on.

Any suggestions?

(yes I'm only sending to other iPhones)

Check your settings, and see if no random phone number is on send and receive. If it doesn't work, then reset all network settings.

Can you change the iMessage settings from the phone number to your email address? I bet that would allow it to work again.
