Can't send mail to contact subgroups

Hi, since the update to Mavericks I can't send any mails to subgroups (a group in a group). Sending a mail to a group is no problem, but if I place this group (lets say Group A) into another group (Group B) I can't add group B to the mail 'To', 'CC' or 'BCC' field. I can't find any similar complains or solutions on the web.
