First of all, Merry Christmas everyone.

I received an iPhone 3GS for christmas this morning, it's on a pay monthly contract with Orange (UK). My problem is that basically, the phone functions fully without any trouble, apart from the fact that it can't send or recieve calls or messages. I think the SIM hasn't been activated.

I have called a few customer support lines etc today, but being Christmas Day, I wasn't holding out much hope for a solution. I will be going to an Orange Shop tomorrow until the phone decides to fix itself tonight, or if one of you lovely people have had any similar experiences and can offer me some guidance?

Anything you can tell me would be much appreciated. =)
