I don't know why but the picture I had on my Macbook desktop disappeared and I can't seem to set any new ones. All I have is a solid blue background.
Please help!
thx

Right-click on your desktop:

Yep I been there but nothing happens when I click on a picture (any picture). Am I missing something? What do you normally do next?
thanks ggstudios

Go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop
You should see something like this:

Right, and then nothing happens when I click on a picture!
Depending on the size of the picture, you might have to wait a few seconds before it appears on your desktop. When you click on a picture, does it appear in the circled box? And do you have it set to Fill Screen?

Yes indeed -and none of this is working.
I appreciate your help BTW!

Hey alright -I got it figured out. I could not tell you why but logging out then logging back in worked to reset my desktop pic.
