Hi Guys.
I've been sharing files since OS 6. While sharing systems have changed radically (and many times) over the past 20 years, I've finally been shot down by Snow Leopard.
In short, I've got a Mac Pro and a Macbook. My user accounts have slightly different names. When I try to set up a user via Get Info and am presented with the address book window I try to set up a new user with the same name as on my Macbook but the Mac Pro refuses to create a new user. All I can do is change "everyone" to read and write, do my business asap, and then revert it to read only.
I never had a problem with Leopard and earlier.
Any suggestions?
