Can't share files between iPad and Mac on iTunes

I see the apps on iTunes but the files within the apps (e.g. Pages) aren't listed. I have the latest version of iTunes and iOS 5 on my iPad 2. What do I need to do to get the files from iPad to my Mac?
 
Figured it out!

I found out I need to affirmatively share the file with iTunes on iPad.
