Had to make a clean install on my Mac and now it won’t let me sign in on the Music and TV apps. I type in my Apple ID credentials and nothing happens at all. I’ve read that in order to be able to sign in again one must create a new admin account in Catalina. Thing is, it should work with the one I have! I’m signed in to the App Store, so there can’t be anything wrong with my account. That said, is there any other fix for this issue? This year’s bugs are just too many, someone should do something at Apple to put things back on track. Sorry for the rant...

Thanks. I’ll try it. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get to those Terminal commands? It won’t affect anything else on the Mac?

combination of posts on here and on the apple support forums. It had no impact on my Mac but fixed the authentication issues with music,tv and podcast apps. But if you’re worried clone your drive as a back up first
