Can't swipe to select-all in new Mail

Hey, is anyone experiencing the inability to Locate the first message in a list, clicking on the message while keeping the mouse button pressed and then dragging the mouse pointer down to select more than one message? Before I was able to do this in Lion. in ML, it just drags down the actual message.

Resolved!

If you're having this issue, go to system preference>check secondary click>choose which side of the mouse you will like to click...

That allows for what I explained above.

never mind, that was not the solution. It seems like in ML, using this option is a hit or miss. At times in selects all and at times it only drags down the specific message.

Ok, it seems as if you have to first click and then immediately click and then drag down in order for it to work. Before, it was much easier.
