Can't sync contacts to 4th Gen ipod

I have tried to sync, using iSync 1.5, my contacts to my 20GB ipod and nothing happens. It still says that it's never been synced. I have pocketmac installed. Do you think that is messing anything up? I'm not sure what to do.
