Can't sync contacts

I have just noticed that my contacts don't appear to be synching between my MacBook pro and my other devices, my iPhone and iPad Air. Neither does my Dropbox for that matter. Has anyone any ideas? As far as I can remember I haven't changed anything and I'm operating on the same WiFi network. Thanks in advance

In the MBP's Contacts app are your contacts in the online account section or in the "On My Mac" section? If it's the latter you need to move them to the online account. If they're in the former try unchecking "Contacts" in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>the account, waiting several seconds, then re-checking it.

For Dropbox I'd first try logging out then back in.
