iPad Can't sync iBooks to iPad

In iTunes on my PC (Dell Latitude running XP) iBooks and the content for it shows up fine. Shows up in iPhone fine. Can't get iBooks to show up in Ipad 2 device. Tried the shut down, boot up process. No iBooks. Help!

Did you download the iBooks app to your iPad? It doesn't come installed....weird, but true.

Yes I did download iBooks from iTunes. I synced iPad and most other apps worked just fine, but not iBooks, and not some others either. It is nowhere to be found on the iPad. I tried the usual reboot actions on both the laptop running iTunes and on the iPad too. Still not syncing correctly.

iBooks is not the only app that fails to sync from iTunes to my iPad. Only 6 of the 40 apps I've purchased have synced to the iPad from iTunes on my laptop.

Download iBooks using your iPad, and you should be good. iTunes is perfect on my MacBook Pro, but less than perfect on my old PC. It's almost like two different programs, but they're both up to date.
