I bought an iPhone 13 mini from my carrier today and restored from my iPhone 7 Plus backup and everything seemed fine. I disconnected my Garmin Fenix 5 Plus from my iPhone 7 Plus and tried to pair with the iPhone 13 mini and it saw the device and said Completing ... but it eventually timed out. I was able to pair it back up with my iPhone 7 Plus afterwards. I am going to call Garmin support tomorrow to try to see if there's a known problem or if there is a current problem.

I set my 13 Pro up from my XS, using Device-to-Device transfer. I didn't even manually disconnect my Fenix 6 from the old phone, just let the wipe take care of it when I wiped the old phone. The Fenix 6 paired effortlessly with my 13 Pro and everything is working perfectly.
One thing I’d ask is, how many devices over Bluetooth does the Fénix support?!
did you fully unpair from the fénix first before unpairing from the old iPhone? If you turn off BT then back on and forget the Fénix can you retry pairing again?
