Where bunnies are welcome.
I JBed my 3G and everything works fine, but when I try to sync photos I get a message saying "the required file could not be found." Any idea why this is happening. My songs and video synced, but not photos.

Edit: Figured it out. The ipod photo cache was corrupt. After deleting it, it seems to be syncing fine now.

Anyone have a resolution?

I just came across the same problem. iPhone 4 JB 4.0.1. "The iPhone cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found."

Found the solution...for me anyway.

From finder:

Users-
Home-
Pictures-
CTRL LC on iPhoto Library - Show Package Contents

Drag the iPod Photo Chache Folder to the trash, then close the window.

Next Sync your iPhone. You'll have to recheck the photos/folders you want synced.

Ok everyone.... digging this up from 2010. I am having this exact problem. I am on 4.2.1 jailbromen and getting the same message as op. I located the iPhoto cache folder dropped in the trash. Cleared out the trash and shut the finder window currently open off. Didnt help. still getting the message. Any help sycing photos pleaseeeeee!!!!!!!!!
