cant sync photos, IPhone to macbook via itunes

macbook snow leopard 10.6.1, itunes 9.0.2
3GS IPhone 3.1.2

things were working before, not now. i have new pics in the iphone camera roll that dont sync down to the macbook. the itunes setup looks correct, not a lot to setup just a ck box and the destination directory.

other items sync w/o issue. everything latest revision.

Have you tried restoring it? For software issues like these, that's usually the guaranteed method.
