Can't sync Sony WX220 to new MacBook Pro

Have been trying to sync the above but having no joy wirelessly. Am guessing will have to buy a convertor/adapter USB to Thunderbolt 3. Any recommendations for 2019 MBP as Amazon is awash with various types? Cheers
