iPhone 11 Pro Can't touch this

Ireland does not have an Apple store. However, this evening i popped in to its 'equivalent' to see the new iPhone 11. It was on one of those 'security clamps' that you can usually lift up (while a cable keeps it connected/protected) to get a feel for the phone. So i tried to lift it up, it wasn't moving. Eventually the shop assistant came over to me to say that it's not possible to lift the phone up. I know this store well and this is a new 'setup'. Guess the 11 is very special.

The Best Buy near me would put touch devices into a cage that looked like a plus symbol. So your fingers can't interact with the full screen. Such a horrible way to demo a product.

Best Buy and Target both puts the phones in the worst contraption that covers half the phone and takes serious elbow grease to even pull some cable out with to look at the phone...makes it almost not even worth trying. Maybe that's the point, I guess...but it's dumb.

There is an official Apple store in Belfast at Victoria Square wherebyou can handle the phones with no attachments

Indeed there is and it is a fine store. It is a 2 hour drive but a lovely city to visit.
