Hi guys. This is super-frustrating. I want to transfer my eSim from my old Ultra to my new Series 10. I have been on a call with EE for about two hours and they've now told me that I need to speak to Apple because the device keeps deleting the eSim from their server. This all sounds typical EE nonsense, but one thing I am concerned about is whether being on iOS 18.1 b4 is the issue. Has anybody else successfully transferred their old eSIM to a Series 10 when their iPhone is running 18.1?

I’m not on 18.1 but if it helps I went from ultra 1 to black ultra 2 today, transferred eSIM fine I just give them EID number from new watch did they ask for that?

Thats what I did on my last AWU and it went faultlessly...

Hoping it's the same on Monday with my black AWU2

Thanks for your replies.

So, I tried again with technical support, even though they had closed my case. The chap went through the same routine/diagnostics, and I must admit to being pretty despondent by this point! However, he did one thing differently, and I wish I took a screenshot of this. Basically, when you go to add a cellular plan/mobile service, you get a screen that says something along the lines of Add a Plan, and below that there is a section that says Not in Use, with EE and an "I". All the other customer support staff told me to tap the "I" and remove the plan. I shouldn't have been doing that; you simply Add a Plan. It then activated within about 5 minutes.

In hindsight, I think the lower portion of that screen shows what smartwatch plans are available on your account, and by removing it constantly you're just wiping it from your watch as an available option.
