Does anybody know why I can’t transfer my new iPhone 11 Pro Max from At&T to Verizon? I bought it outright from Apple but pre-authorized on At&T. Also ensured it was unlocked via At&T.
Every time I try to move it via Verizon app, it tells me that I can’t move this device to VZN right now.
 
Have a chat with Apple to verify the device is unlocked or try a another carrier SIM card. If you’re preauthorized, did you activate it first with AT&T? You may not be able to move if the IMEI is not in their database as well then you’ll need to have them add it.

Thanks. Yes, it’s been activated on At&T. Not sure if there’s essentially a waiting period until I can migrate the phone after activating it on a carrier? Once I enter in my ICCID and IMEI, the Verizon app says I can’t use the phone. I have a confirmation that the device is unlocked from At&T. And my understanding is that any device bought from Apple is unlocked (unless you are At&T Next - which I’m not).

The same thing is happening on Verizon phones bought from Apple. Verizon has a 60 day lockdown on all their verizon iPhones after activation. So people can't use on other networks for 60 days.
 
^ What Packers1958 said; when I purchased my XS, I was told that even if I paid it off 5 minutes after getting the phone, it would need to be on their (AT&T for me) network for 60 days before they'd unlock it.
