cant transfer mp3s from win10-itunes to iphone 14

I installed itunes from ms store as I heard it had less bloatware.
It ran but appears to run from the cloud as its not in program list or menu or in
program files. I right clicked & put it on the task bar & ran it.
I plugged in my iphone 14 & itunes recognized it.
I loaded the music library in itunes with some cd's in mp3 format, selected them all & then got stuck.
No sync, copy, transfer to be seen. right click iphone in itunes just has transfer purchases.

I think I solved it. was clicking the wrong thing.
Its that tiny little icon in upper left. Reading the help file also helped.
Still strange the way the thing installs though. Wheres the program residing?
