Cant transfer pictures!!

Cannot transfer pics either from the iphone to my laptop or from laptop to iphone.

Was able to do this earlier, like in Dec or so when I would synch for data base, seems the icon for this procedure is gone??:confused:

Cannot find ANYTHING anywhere now that says anything about photos,
pics, icons on the itunes. I am sure something has dissapeared......but what?

Thanks for any input or ideas
