So I just rented an episode of Top Gear on my Macbook Pro.

Then I plugged in my iPad so I could transfer the file from the computer to the iPad - want to watch on a plane ride.

But I don't see any option anywhere to transfer?

I've done this previously with movies. I just clicked on the Movies tab for my iPad and moved it over. But I can't find any mention of Rentals anywhere in the iPad tabs...

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm thinking maybe TV rentals can't be transferred, but Movie rentals can...???

Can anyone confirm this? I've searched the internets, but haven't found anything definitive.

Perhaps they've removed it now to encourage the use of their "AirPlay" feature? Only any use if you're staying in the same place as the other device

Yeah, I'm really confused. I know you can't transfer content from Apple TV to other devices, but I thought you could always transfer from a computer (iTunes) to an iPhone, iPad, etc...???
