Can’t type on Smart Keyboard Folio when using PIP.

I have an iPad Air 4, on iPadOS 14, and I recently got a Smart Keyboard Folio.

When watching Netflix/YouTube(Safari) in PIP, the keyboard stops working, meaning I cannot type anything. Disconnecting it from the smart connector and connecting it again doesn’t fix it. Only when I sleep and then wake the iPad— does it begin to work again.

Is there any solution to this?
