Hi,

I'll go through what I've done, then if anyone can help, please do!

In Word for Mac 2008, I rearranged the toolbar, putting shortcuts for footnote, page break etc. - in Customise Toolbar, I shifted them from under the Insert to the Toolbar itself...

They have now disappeared both as shortcuts on the toolbar AND from under the INSERT tab. I have no way of inserting a footnote or a page break!

Have tried resetting toolbar.

Have tried full uninstall of Office several times (manually deleting files, etc.), appcleaner - but when I reinstall, they are still missing. It never detects a previous version to remove it.

Any help with either restoring the original toolbar items or with a proper uninstall would be really appreciated - in last month of PhD and this is driving me nuts!

Thanks, Mark
