Can't uninstall Syncmate

Hi everyone,

I have recently aquired a HTC Diamond which is unfortunately windows mobile. However I read about sync mate to be able to sync my calender which is what I wanted. However after this did not work I uninstalled using AppTrap.

Now...I have bought Missing Sync, however I cannot install as it still thinks SyncMate is there? It is no longer in the trash or in the applications folder? Am i missing something obvious?

Check both under your home folder/Library/ as well as MacHD/Library/ for the "Application Support" folder. Check if there is anything related to that Sync app (possibly labeled as the company that makes it or name of app). Also, in both of those Library folders, go into "Preferences", and then perform a search in it for something relating to it (try "sync", or abbreviations of words).

Edit: Better yet, re-download that Sync app and see if it includes an uninstaller this time around. Or if they have one avail. for download.
