Cant update iphone 3gs 3.2.1 to ios4

i have an 3gs 3.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked..but everytime i open cydia it immediately crashes and so i cant save my shsh blobs also.
i tried to restore to 4.2.1 and itunes gave me 3194 error.
Help me to restore to ios 4.

Pherhaps you are using a tethered jailbreak? You can't restore to 4.2.1 without saved SHSH blobs if you havent saved blobs the only firmware you can restore to is 4.3.3.

4.2.1 is not an option because it is no longer being signed by Apple. You will need to update to 4.3.3.
