Can't update Parallels Internet Security 2009

I just finished installing Parallels Internet Security 2009. The first message I got was that the Database Status was obsolete. So I tried to update. After about 10 seconds, I get this error: "A Network Failure occurred during downloading updates" and I'm unable to update. As far as I can tell the internet is working just fine.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: I think I fixed it. I had to uncheck "Use Proxy Server" under Proxy Server settings in the update settings. Although I think this should be disabled right from the start (some fix needed?)
