I searched and didn't find anything about this...

I've noticed when trying to upload photos to a website like photobucket, or myspace that when I go to select a picture from the iphoto library (under photos tab of course), that the iphoto Icon that i'd normally select to further go into the various albums to pick the right picture, is dimmed and I can't select it, which means I can't upload anything unless it's not in my iphoto library.

Now, I don't really want to move all of these photos out of the library to access them, and I dont know why I have to, since it worked before.

any ideas?

Found the result myself if anyone is interested in finding the actually finding the files of the photos just use finder, open up "Pictures" then right click the "iphoto library" icon then select open package. This will open up a new finder window and all your photos are in there.

it seems that Apple have packaged everything up into one file now?? god knows why as this is pretty annoying......

oops ignore my post, I just saw this solution was at the bottom of the link above :)

They put it into a "package" so that users would not go mucking about in the finder and corrupting their photo files. It is very dangerous to change the files in finder (naming, moving, etc.) -- lost photos, corrupt photos, etc. so they tried to fix it to help save us! Do all your work from within iPhoto app and you will have no problems. There is NEVER a need to go into the library in finder.
