i made a short movie (about 3 min long) on imovie when i was done i saved it then went to youtube to upload it but when i found it under movies it was faded out so i could not click on it. What do i do so that i can upload edited videos using imovie on to youtube?

Hi-
Check that your video is being exported as a .mov, and that it is under 100mb in size. I'm not sure if this is possible with iMovie, but try to export it with the h.264 codec- this gives better results than most other codecs. Although do remember that YouTube wil re-encode your video into Flash anyway, so further quality will be lost. Try this website if you think that file size might be your problem. The tutorial is based on Final Cut and QuickTime, but hopefully the theory will still apply.
