cant upload videos to facebook on a mac?

hi i recently tried to upload videos to facebook from my mac, but facebook says they do not support it, is there a way to change the file name so it accepts it, or is facebook just being racist to macs? the following names are the names of the videos it wont upload.

VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_02_0.BUP
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_1.VOB

can someone tell me if i should rename these files? thanks in advance!

youre trying to upload a whole DVD video? install Handbrake, drop in the Video_TS folder and convert to mpeg4 at a resolution of around 640x480.

unless this is a film, then i strongly suggest not uploading it to Facebook for copyright reasons and it will, well take damn long to upload.

doesnt matter really. i would use x264 as it gives better quality (used in Blu-ray) but takes a lot longer.

If uploading to facebook, one shouldn't really be too concerned with quality, unless I'm missing something here about facebook doing HD?
