Hi there!

First off I am not computer savvy at all so please excuse any stupidity on my part. I have an older Macbook (5 1/2 years old) I have OS X and it shows I have version 10.5.8 it won't let me update it any further and in turn I can't update my iTunes in order to sync it with my updated iPhone. Am I pretty much screwed? I had taken all of my music off of the phone in order to perform the update. My phone showed no music at all and now it has a bunch of random songs from my library on there that I did not check so I don't know how it got on there? I've gone back to using an ancient iPod nano. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not willing to buy a new computer just to put music on my phone. ;) Thanks for any help!

Lorna

In order to update to iTunes 11.1 (the version that is compatible with iOS 7), your Mac needs to be running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. Your Mac should be upgradeable to Snow Leopard if it is only 5 1/2 years old.

You can purchase a Snow Leopard installation disk from the Apple Store.
