I have had my mba 11 for a few months now, but i cant use it..
Dont get headaches etc but the screen really hurts my eyes with it being so small and the keyboard/trackpad dont feel comfortable (to me) so i have decided to get rid while it still holds some decent value, just bought applecare as well for it!
im not interested in retina screen, so thats helps me decision just a personal thing, because i only use the mac for the complete basics but refuse point blank to go back to windows..

Any who, im thinking the 13" MBP basic (if you want to call it that) for £999, £879 at amazon.co.uk will do me as i can replace the hdd with an ssd and put 16gb ram in (i can get parts through work cheap, no vat etc).

Do you guys think for basic use, internet, itunes etc and with my upgrades is the entry MBP worth it still?

I just made this switch. 2012 MBA 11" for the 13" MBP basic.

I miss the portability, but having 16 gigs is nice. It feels much more sturdier, which is surprisingly somewhat nice.

I just switched out my 13" MBA for a 13" MBP and I couldn't be happier! I love the pro and for me, the screen is so much better than the macbook air. It has a lower resolution, but for me it's perfect.
