My aunt has a 1.3Ghz P4, and I tried to watch a TV show from iTunes on it yesterday, and it was choppy, and the audio was out of sync. If I opened the file in QT, it played perfectly fine. I realize that the system requirements for PCs are a 2.0Ghz Pentium or Better, but why does the movie play perfectly in QT? It would seem to me that if QT can play it there is no reason that iTunes shouldn't be able too? What gives?

I just played a 480i Movie trailer from Apple's web site, and it worked great. Why can't iTunes play a TV show, or movie that isn't even HD?

Quicktime uses less resources than iTunes; and on a 1.3 Ghz P4, resources are numbered.
