I can't watch any YouTube video, because every video has an ad that plays after the first second of the video. And whether I skip or watch the whole ad, the video doesn't play after it's over! Is anybody else getting this?

This is on Safari. Chrome seems to work.
 
I had the same problem too. And adblock didn't work on Safari either.
It's okay for a company to add advertisements, but EVERYTIME when trying to watch a video is a bit ridiculous. :eek:
Here's the solution: add these lines to your Mac hosts file:

127.0.0.1 ads.youtube.com
127.0.0.1 s0.2mdn.net
127.0.0.1 s1.2mdn.net
127.0.0.1 googleads.g.doubleclick.net

Done. Worked for me! No stupid Youtube-ads on Safari for me anymore, and that even without a plugin. :)
