Hi folks!

i am a new macbook user (about a year).

i've got a simple problem. I can't write to a windows USB HD.

When i click on info i see in sharing and permission that is in read only mode.. But it only show the info i can't see all user and permission for this hard drive with the lock icon... On any website that i've checked about this subject all the info was there so it was simple.. Unlock permission with your administrator user and password and just set the permission as you wanted it...

I read a lot on the internet and see a solution that you have to put some code with the terminal but i'm pretty sure that i can do it without it cause 6 month ago the same problem happened and i had to go to the apple store and they fixed it without the terminal... I don't remember where they go to fix it..

Be assured that i will write it down this time...

I've got lion 10.7.2

Thanks for your help!

If the format of the drive is NTFS, then OSX cannot write to it. You'll need a third party application to do this such as Paragon NTFS.

if i got parallel with windows xp it can help?

If i plug the USB drive and open it with parallel it will work?

Thanks for your advice!
