Can't write onto Seagate HD

I bought an external seagate HD that came with the ntfs driver/macinstaller so that i can read AND write from mac to pcs and vice versa.

I installed the software and i can transfer my windows files to the seagate HD to my MBP, but I CAN'T transfer my MBP files onto the HD. It still says "read only". I installed the software and activated it. What else am i supposed to do? The seagate website/forums aren't very helpful...
