Caps lock remaining on after sleep?

Hey guys, can someone run this quick 10 second test for me? On the tbMBP, 13" preferably, turn the caps lock on, and then click the upper left apple logo and select sleep, without closing lid. Does the caps lock remain on for like 8 more seconds, or does the caps lock light switch off immediately? Thanks

your screen goes black but the computer is still entering to the sleep mode and the light goes off when it is actually sleeping.
