I recently bought a Sony AVC-3250
I would like to try to feed the signal into my classic MacPro 5,1. I guess I need a capture card for this. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I have attached a page with specifications.

The only one I know that works with my Mac Pro 5,1 running under High Sierra is the Diamond Multimedia VC500 for Mac. It takes composite RCA video and S-Video source as well as an audio source and will capture video out from the video cam you wanted to capture from. I used it awhile back to restore a lot of old old footage from old cams similar to yours and then enhance the captured video using my Windows PC using a software called VideoEnhance AI to bump it up to the modern 1080p resolution.
