Capture card --> X360?

I have no idea where to start, but I'd like to record myself playing Call of Duty 4 on my 360, but I have no idea what it will cost or how to start, or for that matter, where to begin! How much would this run me? I have a 42" Vizio Flatscreen, and I'd like to record in SD while playing in HD.

Are you planning on connecting your 360 to your mac? If not why would you post this question in the mac basics and help? If you are planning on doing this could you get into a little more detail so we could better help. Thanks
