Capturing audio/Video fast

I need to be able to catch audio or video quick but going to the phone and activating app takes too long and i miss important stuff. Trying to catch someone saying or doing something and often miss it. Anyway to dive right into audio recording with a press of a button?

I recently got video of TSA not knowing what to do when luggage caught fire at TSA screening. I ended up selling the footage to FOX and it went national. Funny how no one else got the footage due to panic. I need to be able to capture video fast since I keep running into odd situations since I travel a lot. going into the phone and fiddling with the swipe up or app takes too long. Anyway to activate video or even audio with quick button presses?

Just touching the home button so it wakes up the phone and then swiping left brings up the camera. That only takes like a second

And use a finger that's not registered for touch id or turn on with the power button instead.
