i have old stuff. :D My car’s a 2014 Mazda, and my current phone is the 6s+. The car has a usb-a port as well as auxiliary power (cigarette lighter receptacle). I charge the 6s+ using the USB port, but on a long trip streaming music & using gps, the car charging can’t keep up with the battery drain.

what’s my best bet for charging the iPhone 13 in the car? 1) use the USB port & old usb-a to lightning cable, 2) buy a usb-c adapter for the usb port & use the new usb-c/lightning cable, 3) a usb-c car charger that makes use of the auxiliary port, or 4) I am way off-base . . . suggestions please. (A new car is NOT an option.;))

I use a Rocketek charger in my cars. The model I have which doesn’t seem to be available has 6 USB ports. They are 2+ amps. On long drives we might have both our iPhones and at least one iPad connected. Just make sure any charger has higher power ports and not the 1 amp output of older chargers.

Thanks, Glen! I tend go with Anker for peripherals. I was think of this charger.
