I just wanted to share a picture of my modified car dock to fit the iPhone 5. It's a Brodit dock for a 3GS and I have slightly modified the bottom where the old dock connector cable fitted. I have then put in an Apple Lightning to Micro USB Adapter and a micro USB cable.
It's then been finished off with some black Sugru to give it a decent finish. The Sugru is setting now but it works great.
Note: I only use this to charge the phone since I connect to the stereo using bluetooth therefore I haven't tested data or line out capability.
