Hey all

I am in the process of planning a mac mini car install when i ran across the problem of finding no simple front ends for the mac that would work well in a car. So the obvious solution would be to make one :)
I have created a demo image of what i would like it to look like.

What is the simplest way to create an app with an image like that as the background. So when i click a button the appropriate app will come to the foreground?

Thanks

What inputs are you planing? Which applications do you need?

I'm sure you don't need to re-invent the wheel.

Since all this is, is a launcher, it would probably take like 15 minutes to toss together in XCode. Hell, you might even be able to do this in Applescript or something like that to make it even easier.

Just simple things like iTunes, google earth, email and alike.
I am probably going to use this touch screen "Mimo 720-F" as an input device and also have a dinovo mini,

so is Xcode is the way to go? I will give it a shot

Thanks for that Consultant
