Hey everyone.
Basically looking for a car mount arm/telescoping arm with suction and sticky pad that won’t stain/destroy the dashboard.

Any recommendation welcomed.
Picture for reference of what I’m talking about.

Don’t a lot of those also suction to the front windshield? I would think that would be an option, no?

I have a Mini Cooper and with the very small and limited space, the dashboard area seems like the best alternative. I would like to avoid blocking the front windshield so I can put sun shade while parked.

I’m not sure what year your Mini is, but I’ve used proclip’s dash mount on my Outlander and it’s been great. It’s a bit pricey, but no adhesive or mounting cups to deal with.

For the sake of a quick search, I used a 2015 Mini Cooper.

I hope this helps.

Are these the ones that come with a plastic pry tool? If so I was about to recommend these as well (I didn't know what they were called, but I saw them in a recent YouTube video from TheStraightPipes).

Yes. That’s the one! I really didn’t have to use the pry tool either on my install, but I know a lot of people do.
