Folks, would you know why it is like that? When I use maps and have a normal view in car play while driving and when someone calls, it takes full screen and I need to manually switch view to see maps again. Why did they do it?

You have a view where:
- you see maps
- you see music that plays
- you see a phone call window

I suggest is stays like this and not switch to full screen each time someone calls.

How do you pick up the phone call from that screen?
You need options for pick up/hang up/mute.. how do those 3 fit into that "all rounder" screen setup?
The buttons would have to be tiny to fit into the call part of that window..

Edit: How do you utilize Number keypad into that little window?
How can you see the name of the person calling you? Font would be tiny wouldn't it?

I pick up a phone and hang in by buttons on my steering wheel, it is a lot more comfortable. There is plenty of room on the screen for all of what you say. But what happened many times is that I was in an unknown place driving and had a lot of turns…they someone calls you, the screen automatically moves to phone from a map and you miss a turn.
