Car play strange behaviour when reviving a call

since iOS 12 is I am listing to the radio in my Peugeot 3008 (cabled) the phone rings and tells me who is calling but doesn’t change the display to CarPlay, nor does it default to the accept decline screen. I have to manually go into CarPlay and select the phone option as the default behaviour is to return to the last app I was using, usually iTunes or Spotify.

Is this a bug or new design? Because it is ver very frustrating!

I cant comment on your situation. But my 2 vehicles carplay’s act differently (diff manuf) in same scenarios. Odd as it is.

For me, i need to pause music before disconnecting and leaving the car or else when i walk out - and unlock my Xs the music starts playing and wont stop unless i restart the device, and that is only with Pandora.
