So I have a USB port in my car that I used to always use to charge my 4S. I upgraded to a 5, and now it won't charge. It doesn't say "accessory not supported" or anything, it just acts as if it's not plugged in. Any ideas?

Car USB not working? Thunderbolt to blame?

Lighting, not thunderbolt. And I highly doubt lightning itself is to blame.

Same problem here. It was working in my car with the new cable for my iphone 5 now it doesn't even read that it's there. Any ideas ppl.
Check other cables. See if your old cables still work if you still have them around. Narrow down the issue.
