Car vent mount

Anyone know if the Belking Car Vent Mount with MagSafe is supposed to have the alignment magnets? I have one and it doesn’t feel super sturdy and it doesn’t feel like it.

Are there other better MagSafe car vent mounts? I don’t need power since I plug in anyway.

You don’t need alignment magnets at all. I don’t use a case so my phone may have slightly better magnetic attraction, but I’ve used a round MagSafe vent mount for over a year now and it held my iPhone 14 Pro with no problem at all. It had significant magnetic force and obviously doesn’t have the vertical alignment magnets.

Amazon has endless cheap Chinese ones that work great (mine is one of them), and comically the cheap Chinese one I have is the best vent-mount I’ve seen from any company including the most expensive like Belkin.
