Carbon Fiber and Phone Reception

I found what looks like a great case - but it is made out of Carbon Fiber. I've read some posts about carbon fiber affecting signal strength for both phone and GPS. Anybody have more than anectdotal evidence regarding the affect (or not) of carbon fiber and radio waves?
