Has anyone tried using the new card app yet. I was trying to test it out and send a card today but everytime I push buy and it starts processing it says:

"Not enough information on your acct to process this."

I don't know what's wrong. I don't have a credit card associated with my acct cuz I usually make my purchases with gift card credits and stuff but is it a possibility you can't use that for this? If so that stupids since its through iTunes.

I sent out 2 and was impressed at the ease; anxious to see the quality. After I dug out my CVV it went smoothly.

Because the Cards app has nothing to do with iTunes. It makes perfect sense why you cant...

Not necessarily. It's made by apple and in order to even send a card you have to enter your apple id and password to access you acct so u should be able to use the credit on your acct.

I tried using my iTunes credit but it wasn't working. As soon as I put my CC in, it worked.

I think it's a good start and hope for some more options in the future.

with the tax here, the price came out to:

$2.55 for the card
$0.44 for the postage
$0.28 for the tax
------------------------
$3.27 total

App looked pretty nice and easy to use. But it seemes all the cards are sent from the states. So £3.99 in UK seems too expensive.

Thought it would be okay if you could use iTunes credit (which I usually get when its on offer) but you're saying this can't be done?

I think it's a decent app - but definitely a v1. As an Apple App - I expected more of a UI and some more options/choices - i.e. fonts. And, I can't put it into words - just "more."

But it's ok. I also love "Shoot It" which is similar and has been around for a few years...

Yes. It looks like they don't give you that option as of now so I won't be sending anything anytime soon until they update it to use credit. I was really looking forward to surprise someone with it soon too, but at least the card I made is saved so when they do update it for it(hopefully they do). I'll send it then.
