I'm driving to my parents house tomorrow I'll leave about 0600 and hope to arrive around 1700 Thanksgiving will be Friday with my parents, with my sister brother in law and my three nephews. It should lead to a good arguments my dad is a brown water sailor who did three tours in Vietnam and taught at USMA, my brother in law is an active reserve Sergeant First Class whose not ever deployed, and I'm just a former Infantry Sergeant that did three tours in Afghanistan.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you over there, the travel rush always sounds insane to me. We Canucks already got that out of the way.
By the way we had a small Thanksgiving party with our students (all American doing a semester abroad). One young woman brought a great pumpkin pie - baked by her homestay mom, another young man brought some hors d'oeuvres he made, canapes with brie or smoked salmon. No room for a turkey dinner which I think many were organising themselves outside or with their homestay families anyway.

Already was. Crossed over the HOV when the sign said I could and the paint ended. But it was a mistake and I was supposed to wait (not for long) but anyway got a ticket in NY.
